We are a team of professional quality-focused turn-key stair artists, designers, and building company out of Ashville, AL . Stair Gurus LLC was established in 2022 by J. Trent Vines, our owner, who has been in the stair business exclusively for over 25 years specializing in custom and highly complex residential and commercial projects that called for special attention to detail that not just anyone with knowledge of stair building can offer you. He has been in the stair business since he was 14 years old and still in high school. With that experience, dedication to his craft, and the business contacts made along the way, when the opportunity presented itself in early 2022, Stair Gurus LLC was born. We build all of our radius and helical stair systems on-site from the rough framing stage all the way through the finish to ensure a high quality finish product free of defect. We do offer finish and painting services upon request, but we typically see the project from the framing stage up until it’s ready to be finished and the contracted painters typically finish our work on most projects, but we do offer that service when called for. We live by a mantra that upholds excellence in our products, character, and way of life as we subscribe to the theory that all life on the planet is of the same consciousness and our fellow humans, plants, etc. should be treated with the same respect that we desire. Mr. Vines is a very spiritually sound individual and takes a great deal of joy practicing his spirituality and oneness with the earth and it has spilled over into his business with great success. We believe that being cruel to your neighbor is no different than being cruel to yourself and that all people deserve respect, kindness, and happiness. We also believe in being fair and transparent with our customers and always keeping our prices within reason. However, given the quality of our stair systems, we are usually not the cheapest option, but quality costs money and we will ensure that you receive the best job possible when we are hired to create a masterpiece for your home! Our pricing typically doesn’t compare with what you would be getting from our competitors in the same installations. We don’t settle and don’t expect you too either! We source most of our parts from the Amish in OH due to the consistent quality of the products we buy from them. Most stair companies now are making production stair parts as cheaply as the possibly can, using poplar cores in oak handrails and using finger jointed handrails as stain grade and we don’t believe that’s acceptable on something we put our effort and intention into creating. We believe this looks very unappealing in the focal point of your home. We wouldn’t put it in our own homes and definitely won’t put it in yours for that reason. We make sure each project is completely and satisfactorily aesthetically pleasing to our customers before we start the construction process. We will do the extra work necessary to ensure that it is.
